Omeir Travel Agency was the winner of the Etihad Airways Diamond award for being their top selling agent of Abu Dhabi. The event was the Etihad Airways first Annual Travel Agents Award held on 8th April 2009 at Al Raha Beach Hotel. It was attended by more than 350 travel agent professionals from around U.A.E. There were a total of 39 awards in diamond, pearl and coral category. The award was in appreciation and recognition of the support Omeir Travel Agency has provided to Etihad Airways. Mr. Raymond Korban, Etihad Airways regional general manager U.A.E and Oman stated 'Competition within the airline industry is extremely fierce and therefore the relationship between Etihad and travel agents is extremely important, and one we want to sustain.'
