Omeir Travel Agency Partnership with Abu Dhabi Racing

A true show of passion and excellence: One more addition to Omeir Travel Agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Abu Dhabi: Dec 2015: Following the tradition of our values and leading by example, Omeir Travel Agency has partnered with Daman Speed Academy & Abu Dhabi Racing to show our support and encouragement in their long term objective of delivering the first Emirati Formula 1 driver, thereby creating a legacy to inspire the nation’s youth and also in their prime objective of increasing Emirati participation in various global motorsport disciplines ranging from karting to single seats, GT and endurance racing at international levels.

About Daman Speed Academy Launched by Abu Dhabi Racing (ADR) the Daman Speed Academy (DSA) aims to groom young UAE Nationals to become professional racing drivers and to bolster the Emirate’s presence in international motorsports.

Established under the aegis of Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Racing and Mr. Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Racing, the Daman Speed Academy sponsors a handful of young UAE Nationals every year to undergo a comprehensive driver training program. The young aspirants will go through a series of courses, seminars, workshops and track-time; ultimately preparing them for life as professional sportspeople and top performers in various capacities. The Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi is home for the academy.

Abu Dhabi Racing Abu Dhabi Racing is an Abu Dhabi-based company working on a number of initiatives designed to bolster the emirate’s presence in global motorsport.

Via strategic relationships with Abu Dhabi-based motorsport stakeholders including Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management, Yas Marina Circuit and Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority – the primary objective for Abu Dhabi Racing is to increase Emirati participation in various global motorsport series, including off-road and circuit-based disciplines.
